The KPL defending Champions Gor-Mahia has suffered another blow as their goalkeeper coach Willis Ochieng resigns, the news of Ochieng's resignation has been shared by the team on their official Facebook page, according to the reports, the coach cited personal reasons and family matters, his resignation has been confirmed by the team's Chairman Ambrose Rachier.
His resignation is a blow to the embattled club which is still struggling to get back to its form, Kogalo has already lost valuable players as the transfer continues, Nicholas Kikurui left the club for Nairobi city stars, striker Omalla also left for a Swedish based club.
Just this week the team was rocked by allegations of match-fixing, with the club hierarchy confirmed there is an ongoing in-house probe into the matter. Willis Ochieng resigning at the time of investigation into this matter raises many questions with no answers, however, it could also be the issue of delayed salaries.
