Salim Babu, the head coach of Nzoia Sugar, has admitted that he is feeling the heat of facing relegation.
The Millers have had a poor run of results, going eight games without a win in the league, and are dangerously near to relegation.
Babu stated that he is under pressure with three games remaining before the season ends, and he is targeting a win versus KCB.
“I’m under pressure but not so much because if you look at the remaining games, we have two home games starting with KCB over the weekend.I hope we will win that game because getting wins at home has been challenging but I know we will win. A victory will lift pressure from us,” said Babu.
Nzoia has three difficult games remaining, including matches against KCB and Gor Mahia, before concluding the season at home against AFC Leopards.
Since their promotion to the top division in 2017, the Millers have been a consistent force in the league, producing a plethora of high-quality footballers.
