Kenya Shines Again In Amsterdam as Angela Tanui Wins Women's Race

Kenya has been in the top rank for over years in various athletic competitions as many of the able athletes keep on doing their best whenever these competitions are held.

Following Amsterdam women's marathon, Kenyan runner Angela Tanui is pronounced the new Amsterdam marathon for the women race champion after crossing the finish line first in 2:17:57, setting a Personal Best.

She was followed by Compatriot Maureen Chepkemoi who came in a distant second in 2:20:18, after which the third position was followed by Ethiopia’s Haven Hailu, who clocked 2:20:19.

On the other side for the men’s race, Kenya also managed the second place after Bernard Koech outpaced Ethiopia’s Leul Gebresilase; the winner, Ethiopia’s Tamirat Tola.

It is therefore high time Kenya sports ministry to dwell on these athletes as they keeps on making the country to shine abroad in various competitions.

In an opinion, I therefore encourage any potential athlete not to loose hope and they should keep on their talent for future achievements.
