Manchester City played against Crystal Palace in the Premier League clash. City won 2-0 and take the premier league title in their hands as they only need 2 points for them to be crown t EPL champion. And Spaniard coach Pep Guardiola has revealed why he was happy during this clash.
According to the former Barcelona boss, he was impressed by his side display in the second half which left him smiling after the last whistle. Guardiola said tackling in the second half was much improved and encouraging which helped his side to score two goals. He was also happy with the quality of the game and be convinced of progress in the future games.
With Manchester United welcoming Liverpool this Sunday for a premier league clash, Guardiola is keen for what will happen in this fixture saying he will suspend his work and follow every moment at Old Trafford. A victory for the Reds is enough to give City this season title.
And a defeat will force the Etihad club to go for the next match against Chelsea with a full force and win the game for them to be declared this season premier league champions. Apart EPL title hunt, City are after the Champions League and this Tuesday, they will face PSG in the reverse fixture after a 2-1 win in the first leg.
