Reports from Italy have indicated that Juventus have signed up for the race to sign AS Roma sharp shooter Nicolo Zaniolo as a replacement for Dejan Kulusevksi who recently made his move to Tottenham permanent. Zaniolo’s transfer has been a long way coming since Jose Mourinho has been having a lot of problems with him regarding his tactical executions. The problem that Juventus will have to contend with however is convincing Zaniolo that AS Roma is not his home anymore since the manager does not want him there.
While it is true that Chelsea are close to completing the signing of Raheem Sterling and Raphinha, due attention should also be paid to Zaniolo since he is a big fan of the Premier League. His agent has already flown to London to speak with Chelsea representatives and see whether a compromise could be reached regarding his transfer move.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte is planning a smart transfer move that will shake up Chelsea’s transfer plans for the summer. The Italian manager has intentions of swooping two Everton players, with one being Tuchel’s top target to replace Romelu Lukaku in the summer. Going by how confident Spurs representatives are, there is a big chance that they might finish ahead of Chelsea in signing the player.
The player in question is Richarlison and since Arsenal are no longer interested in the striker following the signing of Gabriel Jesus, the race is now dominated by Spurs and Chelsea at the moment. Conte has an ace up his sleeve- he can offer Harry Winks and add a bonus fee since Lampard wants the midfielder, but Tuchel can only offer the valuation price which is quite high and non negotiable.
