BREAKING: Nick Mwendwa Freed on 4 Million Shillings Cash Bail, Given Two Instructions by Court

The embattled Football Kenya Federation President, Nick Mwendwa was arrested a few days ago and taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters on Kiambu Road.

He was grilled for a few days on allegations of embezzlement of funds and gross misconduct while at the helm of the Football Kenya Federation.

This morning, he was arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts in front of a judge to answer to the allegations leveled against him.

Together with his lawyer, Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, Nick Mwendwa is said to have been released this afternoon on a four million shillings bond.

He has been barred from accessing his office at the Football Kenya Federation headquarters where the President of the football body is located.

He has also been barred from attending any football activities in the country until the case against him will end.

Many people see Nick Mwendwa's arrest as a step in the right direction against the corruption that has been witnessed in the footballing body in Kenya.
