Manchester United and Chelsea have enjoyed great success in the Premier League especially during the 2000s and early 2010s winning several league titles. They are among the big six clubs in England and have some incredible records achieved by both the club and players.
Most of the records kept in the Premier League are mostly achieved by the big clubs like the unbeaten season by Arsenal, three league consecutive wins by Manchester United and most points in a single season by Manchester City.
Every season we get to see records being broken while new ones are being kept. However, Chelsea and Manchester United are the two teams whose players have dominated the Premier League assist list. The record has been standing for a long time with Ryan Giggs being the leading player with the most assists in the Premier League history followed by Cesc Fàbregas, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard.
Ryan Giggs who used to play for Manchester United is the leading player with 162 assists followed by Cesc Fàbregas who has 111 assists having played for both Arsenal and Chelsea. Wayne Rooney is third with 103 assists while Lampard is fourth having registered 102 assists.
The only active players who are close to this record are Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne and James Milner who have 7 8 and 85 assists respectively. They could end their career with good numbers but beating such good records especially that of Rayn Giggs is not easy.
The Welsh international played his entire career at Old Trafford which saw him achieve such great numbers which may take years to beat.
