Former Tottenham Hotspurs and Real Madrid striker had today confirmed that he has retired from the professional football, as he puts his votes of thanks to the sport and his supporters.
Gareth Bale who is aged 33 led his national team, Wales to the first ever FIFA World Cup in 64 years that was played in Qatar last year ( 2022). He has said that the 3-0 defeat from England demoralised him for he was ready to play for Wales as long as was wanted.

The well decorated Welsh player who has won 5 champions league titles while in Madrid broke the news via his social media accounts.“After careful and thoughtful consideration, I announce my immediate retirement from club and international football,”

This sudden retirement from Bale means that he will not be available to play for Wales in the qualifying games for Euro 2024.
