Just recently, Thomas Partey changed jersey numbers from jersey eighteen to jersey number five. This is after defender Sokratis Papastathopolous made his move to Olympiacos. With the likes of jersey ten also remaining vacant, there are set to be new changes in jersey numbers going into the new season.
I have done an analysis of players who are likely to be given new jersey numbers and also those that have existing jersey numbers.
Leno is the current holder of the jersey number and he still looks set to maintain the number.
Bellerin is the current holder of the jersey number. There are reports he might leave. Nuno Tavares is also likely to be signed. So in case he signs and Bellerin leaves then he might be the new beholder.
Kieran Tierney holds the jersey number and since he announced a new contract recently, he is still set to maintain the jersey number.
He is still set to be the beholder of the jersey no doubt.
Partey will be donning jersey five after he changed from the jersey eighteen ha had last season.
Magalhaes still set to maintain his number
Willock impressed last season on loan while Lokonga is a prospect signing. Any of them are poised for the jersey.
10. Smith Rowe/any new signing
He is likely to be rewarded with a new jersey number as he has been impressive
