A 13 Years Old Boy Becomes The Youngest Ever To Make a Professional Debut In Football

Last Friday night, history was made in the beautiful sport of football after a young boy of just 13 years made his professional debut in the United States of America.

Axel Kei who was born on December, 30 2007 became the youngest ever player to make professional appearance in American team sports after he was introduced in the the field on the 61st minute in the match between his team Real Monarchs against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC.

Axel Kei replaced form US National men's team striker Bobby Wood who is more than double his age. The match went ahead to end in a draw even though Axel almost made a difference in the 85th minute but was denied by the Colorado Springs Switchbacks defender who deflected his shot causing it to go wide.

Axel Kei was born in the African Country Ivory Coast before his family moved to United States when he was young. He joined Real Salt Academy where he has impressed the coaches over the years.

After the game, Salt Lake academy toot to Tweeter to congratulate one of their own for making history. At only 13 years Axel has a chance of improving to the top ranks of becoming one of the best footballers in the world.
