Euros Statistics: Players With Most Goals, Cleansheets, Assists, Tackles, saves

The Euros is finally coming to a close as England is set to face Italy in the finals today. There have been players who have performed according to expectations while also those who have performed below average. I have a statistical check on to who leads in which category so far. There is clean sheets, goals, assists and so on.

Christiano Ronaldo leads the pack with five goals even though his team had already exited the competition. Harry Kane has a chance to equal or surpass him in case he scores in the final today.

Steven Zuber whose team had also exited the competition is set to be crowned as the competition’s top assists king. He had four assists until his departure.

Clean sheets

Jordan Pickford heads the clean sheets department with five clean sheets. He only conceded against Denmark in the semis.

Key passes

Despite playing averagely less time than most of the other players, De Bruyne exited as the player with most key passes into the final passes. He has thirteen.

Raheem Sterling tops the dribbles with eighteen for England. He has been absolutely phenomenal in the competition.

Oleksandr Zincheko leads in tackles. He managed sixteen before they exited the competition.

Nobody but Chelsea and Italy’s Jorginho. He has been fantastic defensively for Italy and probably why they are in the finals.

Switzerland’s Yann Sommer is the competitions goalkeeper with most saves. He was fantastic and saved two penalties in the shoot out against Spain.
