Manchester City Have Unveiled a Statue Of Sergio Kun Aguero

Manchester City have unveiled a statue of former Argentine international striker Sergio Kun Aguero, showing how happy he was after scoring the last-minute goal that gave Man City the title in 2012.

The statue was unveiled outside the Etihad Stadium where it shows Aguero celebrating the 90 + 4th minute goal of the final match of the season against QPR in the 2011/12 season, a goal that was crucial as it gave Man City their first undefeated title in Abu Dhabi.

"It's a good time to appreciate what I did here," said Aguero after the launch.

"That goal changed my life, it changed my club and everything changed right there because we even won the championship through that goal."

Aguero with Man City won five EPL titles, one FA Cup with a total of 15 trophies in his 10 years at Manchester City and scored 184 goals in 275 matches. Aguero at the age of 33, left City and joined FC Barcelona where he was unlucky not to have much time to play before announcing his retirement due to health problems.
