Manchester United Thrash Southampton 9-0

Manchester United have hammered Southampton nine goals to nil. Aaron Wan- Bissaka opened the scoring on the 18th minute with a superb cross from Luke Shaw. Marcus Rashford on the 25th minute added another goal from an assist from Green Wood.

Southampton boys lead by their coach Ralph Hasenhuttl, suffered a blow on the 2nd after Alexandre Jankewitz was penalised for fouling a Manchester United player.

The Red Devils continued to show their prowess as on the 34th minute a cross from Marcus Rashford caused Jan Bednarek to score in his own goal making the goals three. This did not deter the Red Devils players to go for more as Edison Cavani scored on the 39th minute.

Second half was no different as the first half. Manchester United were there to hunt. They showed what they are capable of. With substitution being made giving way for Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek, the Red Devils were yet on the run for other goals. Antony Martial, Scott MacTominay, Bruno Fernades and Daniel James were on the score sheet making the goals nine. Antony Martial scored two goals.

Southampton suffered yet another red card on the 86th minutes. This is the biggest win for Manchester United since they beat Ipswich United 9-0 in 1995. Bruno Fernades has ended his dry spell of five games without scoring by scoring a penalty.
