France have become the first team in the FIFA World Cup to qualify for the next round. This comes after France won both of their opening two matches. France won by 4-1 in the opening match against Australia and did so today against Denmark by two goals to one. Paris Saint Germain striker Kylian Mbappe scored both goals for his team. He is now the top scorer in the competition with three goals to his name.
France will be looking to defend their world cup tittle they won in Russia 2018 tournament. France qualified for the round of 16 with one game to spare, and will be looking to make it a perfect three wins when they play Tunisia in their next match.
Australia have three points after they managed to beat Tunisia by two goals to one in their game earlier today. They will qualify for the next round if they beat Denmark in their next match.
