Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted the club is keeping a close eye on their players currently spending the season away from the Emirates based club.
The gunners achilles over the years has always been their defence but the current crop of players at the club could provide a solution for Arteta.
Konstantinos Mavrapanos and William Saliba are currently on loan at Vfb Stuttgart and Nice respectively and are set to rejoin the club for pre season.
"Obviously we are getting all the information and watching their games because I want to keep a very close eye on what they are doing." Arteta said.
Should the two come good from their loan spells, they could save the cash stripped gunners millions of dollars in the summer in terms of the transfer fees.
