Manchester United started the season on a high, recording an impressive win against Leeds United. Solskjaer's side was almost unplayable against Leeds, scoring for fun.
Many expected United to be more ruthless against Southampton but United only managed to earn a draw from the game. United were very sloppy throughout the match with the likes of Nemanja Matic, Fred, and Bruno Fernandez all guilty of giving the ball away too easily.
In fact, it was Fernandez who lost possession in his own half before Allowing Southampton to take an early lead through Adams. United struggled to get their act together with Solskjaer's side going into the break trailing.
United eventually managed to pull one back through Mason Greenwood. They however failed to find a winner for the rest of the game.
According to many Manchester United fans, the time has come for Serbian Powerhouse Nemanja Matic to leave alongside Anthony Martial after the two produced below-average performance against Southampton.
Here are a few of the reactions from fans.
