A while back, Manchester City's Kyle Walker was asked who the technically gifted players currently at Manchester City are. "Not in any order, because I wouldn’t want to put them in any order. My top three are Zinchenko, [Riyad] Mahrez, and [Bernardo] Silva," said Walker.
"(Zinchenko) He's incredible, incredible. Two touches, head tennis, he's incredible, so good. So, so good. And then you're leaving the likes of De Bruyne out, Phil Foden, Cancelo. But they don't come close to those three."
Zinchenko has recently appeared on Arsenal's transfer radar, and there is speculation that he is one of the players Arteta wants to bring to the club this summer. Although Zinchenko has spent the majority of his time at City as a left back, that is not his natural position; he is a midfielder. Notably, Arteta is interested in him for his midfield.
With Walker already demonstrating how good Zinchenko is, the Ukrainian could be the missing link in Arsenal's midfield. Arteta's dream midfielders are seen as Odegaard and Partey, but there is a belief Arsenal need to sign one more midfielder, most likely Zinchenko, for Arteta to unveil his dream midfield that could take the Premier League by storm.
