After Barcelona's 4-2, Atletico Madrid's 2-1 & Sevilla's 3-0 Victories, See How The La Liga Table Looks

Barcelona started their life after Lionel Messi with a 4-2 victory at Camp Nou in their opening Laliga fixture against Real Sociadad. The Catalans had won the same fixture 6-1 last season hence were confident for a victory at Camp Nou. Gerrard Pique opened the scoring in the 19th Minute after clever assist from Memphis Depay before Braithwaite combined with Frank De Jong at stoppage to gift Barcelona a 2-0 lead at the break. Barcelona came back to the secons half thirsity for more goals & Braithwaite scored his second goal in the 59th minute to put the hosts 3-0 up. Real Sociadad scored two quick consolation goaos through Lobete & Oyazarbal before Sergio Busquets sealed all the 3 points at stoppage time as Barcelona thumped Sociadad 4-2 at home. After the 4-2 win, Barcelona climbed up to position 3 in Laliga table Standings with 3 points but 1 goal short of Leaders Real Madrid who won 4-1 against Alaves.

Atletico Madrid saw off Celta de Virgo 2-1 to claim 3 vital points as they beggin their journey to defend their Laliga title. Atletico Madrid goals were scored by striker Correa who was assisted by Lamar & Niguez while Virgo only consolation goal was scored by Aspas through a penalty. Hermoso & Mallo were shown red cards for unsportsman-like conduct at stoppage time to end the match with 10 each team. After the 2-1 victory, Atletico Madrid climbed up to position 4 in the Laliga summit with 3 points while Virgo dropped to position 16.

Sevilla bullied Rayo Vallecano 3-0 at Ramon Sanchez Stadium to start the 2021/22 season with a clean sheet victory. Sevilla goals were scored by En Nesyri & Erick Lamella who came on as a substitute to score a brace for his team after joining them from Totttenham Hotspurs. After the 3-0 victory, Sevilla climbed up to position 2 in the La Liga table with 3 points & a strong +3 goal difference.
