Over the ongoing summer transfer window, a number of Kenyan footballers have been on the move some of whom include Jonah Ayunga and Collins Sinchenje among many others.Over the weekend, Jonah Ayunga marked his debut with Scottish club St Mirren as they ran 2-1 winners over Linfield.
St Mirren opened the scoring in the 4th minute through Alex Greive before Daniel Finlayson's equalizer in the 20th minute.Jonah Ayunga marked his debut in style as he scored St Mirren's winning goal in the 38th minute.
Ayunga who joined St Mirren from England's third tier league club Morecambe became the second Kenyan to play for a Scottish club after his debut on Saturday.This is after Victor Wanyama who had stints with Scottish giants Celtic between 2010 and 2013.Ayunga will be hoping for more game time in the preseason ahead of the new season.
