French striker Alexander Lacazette is set to miss the big clash between Arsenal and Chelsea at the Emirates stadium. The clash which is set to take place today in the evening is one game that is highly anticipated by fans around the world. However, Arsenal will have to play without Lacazette who forms part of the main squad.
Last season Alexander Lacazette played both legs against Chelsea where Arsenal managed to beat the Blues in both games. This time round it will be quite different with Mikel Arteta now forced to replace Lacazette with any favourable striker in the club. Despite Aubameyang's availability for the Sunday evening clash, the likes of Gabriel Megalhaes, Thomas Partey and Alexander Lacazette won't be available.
Lacazette misses the game after testing positive for Covid 19 hence the player is currently under isolation until he fully recovers, the reason remains the same as to why both Lacazette and Aubameyang missed the first game of the season for Arsenal against Brentford where the Gunners dropped points.
