Worldcup tournament kicked off today with Host Qatar facing Equcador in the first match of the prestigious tournament.Ecuador were tipped to win against the hosts as they seemed the stronger team of the two.
Two minutes after the match started, Ecuador scored the first goal of the match through their team captain Enner Valencia who plays for fernabanche.The goal went on to be ruled as an Offside.
Ecuador continued their dominance and scored again in the 15th minute through Enner Valencia again after slotting it home for the visitors.10 mins later he scored the second goal of the match to make it 2:0 infavour of Ecuador.
They went to win the match by 2:0.Qatar became the first team in worldcup history to lose the first match of the competition when they are the host.Fans went on to critizise them saying they might fail to win a single match in this year's worldcup that they had hosted.
