Thomas Tuchel is still worried by his current squad, hence Chelsea continue to sign more players in this summer transfer window. The blues have secured the services of Marc Cucurella from Brighton, thus they will turn their attention to Barcelona who raided most of their priority targets.

The Champions of the world lost key defenders Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, and yet they have signed Koulibaly as the only replacement. Barcelona were keen to sign another defender from Cobham, but according to Fabrizio Romano, Cezar Azpilicueta have opted to stay at Stamford Bridge.

The Longest serving Chelsea player at the current squad and the club captain, Azpilicueta will sign two year contract extension, after rejecting a move to camp Nou.
This is a huge boost for Tuchel, who was keen to keep the skipper ahead of the new season. Chelsea will be hoping for a good season, after previous disappointments while under sanctions,as well as losing two consecutive English domestic finals.
