The final fixture for match day in the premier league was played today as arsenal took on Everton at the goodison park . The gunners failed to return to winning ways in PL as they were defeated 2-1 by the toffees away from home .

Everton though they broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute when Richarlison expertly headed Andros Townsend's across into the net . However the VAR disallowed the goal for a marginal offside decision.
After failed attempt , richarlison finally got the equalizer for Everton as he steered a header into the back of the net to make 1-1 in the 80th minute .
Demaraib Gray secured the match winning for Everton by scoring from Andre Gomes pass in the 90+2 minutes to bring the scorelines to 2-1 at full time .
The defeat meant arsenal failed in their quest to climb to the European places . Everton's win will help Ease some pressure on the under fire Rafa Benitez.
