Joy at Emirates as Arsenal 'Verbally Agree' to Sign 27yr Old Deadly Striker

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is still hoping to land his dream signings in the incoming summer transfer window knowing that he's already one step closer to secure UEFA champions league qualifications spot ahead of close rivals like Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs.

The Gunners have been linked with a bunch of highly rated players who can arguably give Arteta experience and strength required in order to compete for major silverwares.

Alexandre Lacazette's potential exit might be a blessing in disguise for Arsenal supporters in that it will have a way for a deadly striker to join them at Emirates.

According to Telegraph Football, Arsenal are ready to explore a deal to sign England's and Manchester City's striker Raheem Sterling in an attempt to sharpen their attacking options considering that Eddie Nketiah will be out of contract in June.

The 27 year old hasn't been a regular starter under Pep with Gabriel Jesus, Phil Foden and Mahrez starting ahead of him and thus earger for playing time with Arteta keen on using his good relationship with Sterling to lure him to North London side.

Ideally, Sterling is a perfect target for Arteta considering that he's already used to premier league as well his intense speed while with the ball.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen is still on Arteta's radar but Manchester United might hijack the deal.

Lastly in your opinion, Do you think Arteta should sign Sterling?
