Erling Haaland scored twice to help Manchester City defeat Leeds

Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, became the fastest player in Premier League history to reach 20 goals after scoring two goals in the second half to assist his team upset Leeds United.

Manchester City, who entered the game eight points back of the league's top team, Arsenal, defeated Leeds United, who were ranked fifteenth.As they pounded Leeds United's defense early on, Manchester City played with their fast-paced style.

Haaland twice found the side net before the game's thirteenth minute. Kevin De Bruyne's attempts at receiving the ball from Manchester City right back Lewis were unsuccessful.In the 30th minute, following a brilliant through cross from Nathan Ake, Leeds United goalkeeper Illan Meslier saved a goal from Haaland in a one-on-one situation.

Jack Grealish missed what appeared to be the best opportunity to give Manchester City the lead when he should have done so.

After receiving a wonderful pass from De Bruyne, Rodri ultimately gave Manchester City the lead in the 45th minute. Rodri scored his first Premier League goal for Manchester City this year with that goal.

With Leeds United playing just a shot off target, Manchester City had 74% of the ball possession.
