If the name Vincent Harper does not ring a bell in your mind as a Kenyan football enthusiast, then he is one upcoming Kenyan footballer whose name you should remember after hearing what he is doing in the English football scene.
Vincent Harper, 21, is a Kenyan left back who plays for Eastleigh FC in the English Premier League. Although he is not yet a member of the Harambee Stars, Engin Firat can call on him if he needs a talented defender.
Harper was in the thick of things in this weekend's FA Cup qualifiers with a brilliant performance against Folkestone, where his daring run into Folkestone's box earned Eastleigh an important penalty, which helped Eastleigh earn a 3-3 draw. Because of the draw, Eastleigh will have to play Folkestone again on October 19th to see who advances to the third round of the FA Cup qualifiers.
Vincent Harper, in addition to winning the penalty for Eastleigh FC, was named man of the match in that game against Folkestone.
