French Ligue 1 outfit, Nice have today announced the appointment of Lucien Favre as their new head coach, with the 64 year old now poised to replace Christopher Galtier at the Allianz Riviera dugout.
According to latest reports from renowned journalist & transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Les Aiglons have officially unveilled former Borrussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre as their new head coach, following the departure of Christophe Galtier who is set to replace Mauricio Pachettino at PSG.
Joining Nice in 2016, the Swiss tactician really had a successful stint at the Allianz Riviera, having led the club to 3rd place finish in his debut campaign before joining the Black & Yellows in 2018. Favre also boosts vast experience in top European competitions, having had short spells at the helm, with German heavyweights Borrussia Moncheglabach & Hertha Berlin & hence the Nice top brass view him as the ideal manager to lead their side back to glory.
