Chelsea players Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Antonio Rudiger have recently joined other German players for some training ahead of their tonight's International friendlies match against Latvia at Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf.
Germany's last International friendlies match against England ended in a draw while today's rival Latvia beat Lithuania with a 3-0 scoreline. The Havertz's side has performed poorly in their recent games but is Nevertheless tipped the favorites to win today.
For the Germans, the match will serve as a preparation for we incoming Euro 2020 contest where they are set to face France on Tuesday, 15th June.
Other notable players that were present in the training grounds are Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and Real Madrid star Toni Kroos.
Germany has failed to beat France in their last 5 encounters and it's therefore clear that they will have to exercise rigorously to beat the 2016 finalists.
I'm team France. Which team are you backing in the oncoming Euro 2020 contest?
