Arsenal: Lacazette In- Sanchez Out, Smith Rowe a Working Progress, Saka Sets New Record

Emile Smith Rowe

Arsenal’s midfield maestro Emile Smith Rowe has shown a lot of quality and prowess in the attacking department. The 20-year-old has scored one goal and created one this season but analysts believe that his tally will skyrocket as the season’s campaign continues. Smith Rowe has been a regular starter for Mikel Arteta, clearly indicating that he is among Arsenal’s top players.

With regards to playing style and position, Mikel Arteta is still working on ways to find a suitable formation that will accommodate both Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard. Martin Odegaard is mostly preferred for the number 10 because he is a classic attacker and has a good passing vision. He, however, lacks pace which is made up for by Smith Rowe who in turn lacks passing vision and accuracy. Arteta is basically searching for a symbiotic formation which blankets all the weaknesses of the players.

Alexander Lacazette

According to reliable sources, Inter Milan are willing to sign Alexander Lacazette who has been on their radar for a significant amount of time now. Reports however clarify that a bid will only be made once the club sees out Alexis Sanchez’s hefty €300,000 weekly wage bill. This basically means that Sanchez needs to leave Inter Milan so that the Italian giants can sign Alexander Lacazette.

Lacazette has made his desire to leave Arsenal after this season known and the club’s board is satisfied with his contribution to the club over the years. Going forward, Lacazette will be seen as a very good striker for the Gunners because of how prolific he is. Inter Milan are yet to make formal contact with Arsenal and Lacazette, but a genuine interest in signing the Frenchman has been confirmed.

Bukayo Saka

After scoring a brilliant goal against Andorra the other day, Bukayo Saka now becomes the second youngest England player to score in two consecutive matches for the Three Lions. Aged 20 years and 34 days, Bukayo Saka is barely a year away from Wayne Rooney’s record which was set at 18 years 251 days. Saka has quickly become a fan favorite for the England team and Arsenal fans hope he emulates his prolificacy in the English Premier League as well.
