The head of state president Uhuru Kenyatta has today this morning delivered a very crucial announcement to Kenyan marathoner Eliud Kipchoge. According to reports from the State House Kenya, president Uhuru Kenyatta has congratulated Eliud Kiochoge for winning 2021 ANOC Award for being the best male athlete at the Tokyo Olympics.
Eliud Kipchoge raised the flag of our country Kenya high after breaking world record in Tokyo Olympics where no man has ever been recorded to run like Kipchoge. As a result, the king of marathons Eliud Kipchoge won an award which has made Kenyans and more so president Uhuru Kenyatta.
However, despite Eliud Kipchoge winning an award, the government should offer full support to Kenyan athletes and those in sports so as to increase more awards in our country through cultivating their talents. Also the rights of these people should be highly observed by the government in ensuring that they acquire more security as any other prominent person.
