
Manchester United have sent Pep Guardiola a condolence message following the demise of his mother who has succumbed to coronavirus.
In a tweet, Manchester United stood in solidarity with their City rivals to condole with the Spanish tactician.
“Everyone at Manchester United is saddened to hear this terrible news. We send our heartfelt condolences to Pep and his family. #ACityUnited,” United tweeted.

Manchester City had confirmed the death of the 82 year old Dolors Sala Carrió on their Twitter page.
“The Manchester City family are devastated to report the death today of Pep’s mother Dolors Sala Carrió in Manresa, Barcelona after contracting Corona Virus. She was 82-years-old,” read a tweet from Manchester City.
The Blues have gone ahead to condole with the family of the tactician during this trying time for him.
“Everyone associated with the club sends their most heartfelt sympathy at this most distressing time to Pep, his family and all their friends,” the defending champions added.
