On Monday afternoon, Manchester United and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo mourned the death of a friend, who is his friend's wife, Jose Semedo on social media.
Soraia, Jose Semedo's wife, was announced dead after health compilations which are said to have been caused by an infection.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Semedo med at Sporting Lisbon academy and the two have been friends since then. Ronaldo and Semedo have been seen on many vacations together.
On his Facebook and Instagram pages, Cristiano Ronaldo wrote a condolences message mourning the death of his friend's wife Soraia.
Here is Cristiano Ronaldo wrote: "There are times when everything comes to the background, including Football. Last week, unexpectedly, a fantastic human being left, our dear Soraia"
After his message, many football fans around the world have reacted to Ronaldo's post with many sending their condolences to Semedo's family.
