Good News As Government Opens Stadium Set To Allow 10,000 Gor Mahia Fans For Al Ahly Clash

Gor Mahia fans can finally smile after over a year of waiting to watch live matches after the government opened the stadium for the fans.The stadiums had been closed since last year when COVID 19 first hit the country.Since then, the Kenyan premier league matches and also Harambee Stars matches have continued to be played behind closed doors.

However today Gor Mahia on their Facebook page delivered the good news.They announced that the government had allowed up to 10,000 fans for their return match against All Ahly of Sudan.

The two sides will be facing one another for the return leg of the CAf matches.First leg was played away in Egypt and Gor Mahia won 3:1 as youngster Benson Omalla and Ulimwengu were on target.

The approval was done in coordination with the sports Ministry and also approval from the ministry of health.This may potentially open doors for also Kenya Premier League fans resumption if it goes well without any disruption.

The match will he played at Nyayo Stadium.
