Brazil vs Argentina game has been interrupted after Brazilian health officials walked on the field. The officials claimed that Martinez, Buendia, Romero and Lo Celso—who traveled from the UK in the last 14 days and didn't quarantine, thus breaking the Brazilian rules on containment.
Argentina players have been angered by such action, saying that they were not notified.
Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni: "No one notified us.
"At no time were we notified that they could not play the match. We wanted to play the match, the Brazilian players too.
"It makes me very sad. I'm not looking for a culprit. If something happened or did not happen, it was not the time to make that intervention."
Lionel Messi to Brazilian health officials: "It's an embarrassment. We have been in Brazil for 3 days and nothing happened."
What remains is to see which team will be awarded the three points or the game will have to be rescheduled.
