Kylian Mbappe is arguably one of the best footballers in the world right now. The Frenchman is known for his pace and dribbling ability which is a nightmare to so many defenders. At the age of 22, Kylian Mbappe has already won the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Nations League and numerous individual awards. While playing for Paris Saint Germain and the French national team, Mbappe has played against some of the best defenders and goalkeepers in the world.
During an interview with SportsBible, Mbappe was asked to name the toughest opponent he has faced in his career. Well, it might be a surprise to many football fans that Kylian Mbappe ignored the likes of Pique, Ruben Dias and Sergio Ramos then mentioned former Juventus and PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.
"The toughest opponent I have played against? I would go for Gianluigi Buffon. He is one of the best keepers and he has challenged me a lot."
