Reasons Why Denmark Verses Finland Match Was Interrupted In Copenhagen

In the first round of the European Championship between Denmark and Finland, the Danish midfielder Christian Eriksson passed out on the Pitch. A medical team rushed onto the field, with players from the two teams surrounded Mr. Eriksson. Mr. Eriksson received a doctor's heart massage. The player was then taken off the field and taken by ambulance to the nearest Copenhagen Medical Center. The game was therefore interrupted due to medical reasons. Reporters revealed that Eriksson, who was pulled off the pitch, gave them a thumbs up, indicating that he was okay. The doctors resuscitated him when he was on the field from a coma that lasted more than ten minutes.

The European Uefa Championship Officials had said the following concerning the incident. "Following a medical emergency involving Danish player Christian Eriksson, both teams and match officials held crisis meetings and will relay further information. The player has been taken to the hospital and he is in stable condition."
