This season was shaping to be one of the greatest for Chelsea. Having won the champions league last season and super cup in the beginning of the season, Chelsea looked to build on that winning mentality for the rest of the season.
They displayed some amazing performance and consequently topped the league table in October. However, recently Chelsea have been hit by injuries to they key players. These injuries have led to Chelsea registering some poor results and they have slipped to third position in the table.
But the return of Ngolo kante, Trevaoh chalobah and Mateo kovacis has lifted the mood for Chelsea supporters across the globe. These players have established themselves as key figures in Chelsea's campaign.
Their importance maybe overlooked but after missing recent matches they have been missed. Chelsea look to pile pleasure on the likes of Manchester city and liverpool to reclaim top spot again in the league table. Chelsea take on Everton on Thursday night. They can't afford to drop any points and the return of the injured stars is a big boost to the entire squad.
