German tactician Thomas Tuchel has had an impressive record since replacing the Blues legend Frank Lampard as Chelsea manager. The former PSG coach has guided Chelsea to the FA Cup final, are well placed in the top four in the EPL table, and could also lead the Blues to their first ever UCL final since 2012 if they can overcome Real Madrid on Wednesday 5th May at Stamford Bridge.
In 2012, Italian manager, Roberto Di Matteo, was sacked in November after guiding Chelsea to their first Champions League trophy. Tuchel will be sacked before the end of the year despite all his achievements if he wins the UCL.
As Blues faithful believe that the 2012 records have been repeating in 2021, as they are in the FA Cup finals, likely to win UCL, and struggling to finish in the top four this season, the same feat they achieved in 2012. It is now evident that the London club wouldn't be having Thomas Tuchel around for long.
If you're in Chelsea's fan shoe, what will you choose between losing Thomas Tuchel and winning the UCL and FA Cup trophies?
