
Tunisia Football Federation has reported that 12 key players who are playing in Africa Cup Of Nations in Cameroon have been confirmed COVID-19 positive. This comes during the preparations for their final Africa Cup of Nations group match against Gambia was going but were thrown into disarray after 12 players in the 28-man squad contracted Covid-19.
Key player Wahbi Khazri is among the players to test positive.
According to the reports from TFF posted on Facebook account the players who took part in a training session were 16 players present while the rest (12) were absent due to Covid-19. Players who have been confirmed COVID-19 positive include,
1 Ali Maaloul.
2.Aymen Dahmen.
3.Ghailene Chaalali.
3.Mohamed Ali.
4.Ben Romdhane.
5.Wahbi Khazri.
6.Ali Jemal.
7.Mohamed Amine.
8.Ben Hmida.
9.Mohamed Drager who plays at the right-back.
The players have been isolated from the group with some good news saying that 5 players are recovering from the virus.
