Mbappe in the 3rd and Marquinhos in the 28th brought a double lead to their team, as they both scored quite beautiful goals, but the Bavarians showed just how dangerous they can be, leveling up with goals scored in the 37th and the 60th.
However, PSG had the final word in this one, as Mbappe, once again, showed his talent, and set the final score in the 68th minute of the encounter, and brought his team a victory that will surely be remembered.
The Bavarians, even with a weakened rooster, put up with quite a fight against PSG last Wednesday at Allianz Arena, but unfortunately for them, suffered a 2:3 defeat.
They conceded two goals after the first twenty-eight minutes of play but responded in the best way possible, as they were able to level up the score over Choupo-Moting in the 37th and Muller in the 60th minute and appeared quite dangerous for the rest of the clash.
The hosts were really close in scoring another one, however, the Parisians performed spectacularly in transition, adding another to the scoreline in the 68th, and left the Munich machinery with a very difficult task of finding their way to the semi finals.
The headline describes the position of the Bavarians now. Even though they remain dangerous even so weakened, there's no doubt that the Parisians will try to use their situation in the best possible way and in their favor. Just like he did in Munich, their best offensive player should once again have quite a space to prove his effectiveness in a game that could easily be the one to remember in this season. PSG Wins
Chelsea vs Porto
Chelsea is simply better and in a way better position in front of this one. Porto will need to risk, and I mean completely risk. It's not something that could easily pay off to them. It will be really difficult for them to be better than what they were last week, and with the given exposure this time, I definitely see the Blues benefiting from it. Smaller risk since they actually don't need it that much still, should get it.
Sheffield Wednesday vs Swansea
Swansea did have difficulties with its appearances lately, but judging by their latest encounter, a light can be seen at the end of the tunnel. Overly looking, they are a side that showed much more this season and are much closer to victory in the upcoming clash with Sheffield.
However, the hosts certainly can be dangerous, just remember the match with Cardiff two rounds ago when they crushed them with 5:0 at home, so due to safety, I am leaving a draw as a possibility here.
Partick Thistle vs Clyde
Clyde have a reliable goalscorer in David Goodwillie. He's been with Clyde for 6 seasons and scored over 70 goals for them. He is currently 2nd in the goalscoring charts with 9 goals. With a player like that in your team, Clyde are often good for a goal.
Partick have their own goalscorer, 33 year old Brian Graham. He has 8 goals from his 13 games so far.
To be fair to Partick, they have been scoring lately, but i don't think this is something they can keep up. In their last 6 matches they've scored 3, 4, 2, 1, 2, 3. It's time the ball found a way to stay out. They're not Rangers after all and they're not even the best team in the league. Clyde will win
