Manchester United goalkeeper has done an Instagram story immediately after Spain's bunglement out of the world cup. Spain was knocked out of the round of sixteen by African side Morocco in the post match penalties. Morocco won by three penalty kicks against Spain's 0. Spain missed the first as Morocco netted theirs, Spain then missed a second, Morocco missed then scored again while Spain missed all remaining two. There was no need to take the subsequent kicks.
David De Gea then made the post above on his IG. It has a photo of him smiling wearing the ManU jersey. But why is this post of interest? Well it is about the timing. De Gea was snubbed by national team coach Luis Enrique at the expense of Unai Simon and Sanchez of Brighton. Simon saved none of the penalties despite having played well. De Gea has saved a couple before, and this seems to be a jibe to them, "Well that's what you get for leaving out a world class keeper."
