Arsenal today evening got their first win after a series of defeats. This victory came against Southampton, which appeared weaker today. Arsenal displayed attractive football, and Southampton did not bring any attacking problems. Lacazette opened the scoreline in the first half after tapping in a low cross from Bukayo Saka. The second goal came before the end of the second half after Odegard headed a cross from Tierney. Arsenal returned more robust in the second half, and Gabriel scored a header from Martinelli's corner.

Some players have improved their game and were vital in today's Arsenal victory. Despite some of them not scoring, they were very critical when they had the ball. These players include:
Bukayo Saka
Without a doubt, Saka was the best player on the field today, and he deserves to be the man of the match. He was always controlling the forward play, and in the process, he provided the first assist of the game.

Gabriel Martinelli
Despite not scoring, he always gave defenders problems on the left side. He assisted the third goal.
