Mikel Arteta is doing all he can to reinforce his squad so that they can improve from last season. Last season was one of their worst since they managed to finish eighth position in the premier league table.
This now makes them to spend in the transfer market as they try to bring in good quality players who will help them improve. They have already completed two signings after they landed Nuno Tavares and Albert Lokonga from Benfica and Anderlecht respectively.
The Gunners are still preparing to bring in more players before the end of transfer window. They are currently looking for Granit Xhaka replacement who is expected to leave this summer.
Bruno Guimaraes is one of their transfer target this summer as they look to fill in the gap of Granit Xhaka. Guimaraes who is currently at Lyon might be a perfect replacement of Xhaka since he is considered as one of the best midfielders.
The 21-year-old has been one of the best midfielders in Ligue one. He admitted that he would love to play in the premier league one day.
"I have always said to my agents that I dream of playing in England, it is the best league in the world, all the matches are close. Even when the team in 1st plays against the team in last, it looks like a final," he told Fox Sports via GFFN
Arsenal are now hoping they will lure him to the Emirates before the end of the transfer window.
