Over the weekend, a number of CAF Champions League group matches were lined up.Harambee stars defender Brian Mandela was in action for his South African club Mamelodi Sundowns who were up against the defending Champions League winners Al Ahly away at Egypt.
Brian Mandela played in the entire match as his club ran 1-0 winners over Egyptian giants Al Ahly.Sundowns goal was scored in the 23rd minute by Peter Shalulile.The win ensured that Sundowns remained at the top of Group A table with 10 points, 6 points ahead of second placed Al Ahly.Al Hilal Omdurman and Al Merrikh come in third and fourth respectively.
