AC MILLAN VS JUVENTUS.
Sunday’s Serie A programme is headlined by a meeting between Italy’s two most successful clubs. AC Milan are looking to bounce back from Monday’s shock defeat to Spezia in order to reinvigorate their title hopes, while Juventus would move within four points of Milan by claiming a third league win in a row.
AC Milan’s controversial defeat to Spezia was their third reverse in their last five at San Siro in all competitions. While Stefano Pioli’s team are just two points from the Serie A summit, having played a game more than Inter, a loss to Juve would see their cushion to fifth place cut to four points. Pioli’s team continue to be without influential midfielders Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie due to the Africa Cup of Nations, while first-choice centre-backs Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori are out injured.
Juventus continue to chase the top four in Italy, having been buoyed by an eight-match unbeaten run in the league, during which they’ve won six and kept five clean sheets. The Old Lady’s away record remains strong, with Massimiliano Allegri’s men last losing on their travels on Halloween at Verona.
Prediction:Juventus to win.
EMPOLI VS ROMA.
Prediction:Roma to win.
GRANADA VS OSASUNA.
Prediction:Both teams to score.
