Different African teams are fighting hard in order to qualify for the world cup tournament come year 2022.In the first round of the matches different unexpected results were recorded.Teams are striving a lot just to qualify for the tournament because of it's importance of participation.The following are the results that were recorded today in different matches that took place in various stadiums in Africa:
1.South Africa recorded a 1-0 victory over Ghana.The late goal by B.Hlongwane on 83rd minutes rewarded his home team three points that will determine whether they are capable to qualify for World Cup.
2.Central Africa displayed a good game against their rivals Liberia but it ended loosing the game to a 0-1 victory to Liberia.K.Sherman gave his team a lead at 86th minute making his team go home with the three points.
3.The match between Uganda and Mali was perceived as difficult since the results were equalled.No team managed to score even a single goal against the opponent side.M. Jjuko a Ugandan player was given a red card at the 65th minute.
