Breaking: Huge Blow To Chelsea As Tuchel Set To Be Without Mendy And Ziyech For Close To A Month

Chelsea have managed to pick some good run of form of late with back to back wins Southampton, Brentford and Malmo all have lost to Tuchel's side. Now llooking ahead to face a languishing side in the relegation zone this afternoon as they welcome Norwich City to the Bridge.

Meanwhile injuries to Lukaku and Timo are a major blow to the German tactician but still he's of no much worry as he boasts of squad depth. Which can see Kai and Mount step in to offer cover as well.

However there is a real challenge for Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea football club come January. As the two African players Mendy and Hakim Ziyech will all be away to represent there nations in AFCON.

FIFA rule states that qualifying nations can or are allowed to summon there players as early as after boxing day fixtures. Which means the duo can leave on 27th December as the games commence on the new year's 9th January and go all the way to 6th of February.

These will definitely see Chelsea play both Brighton, title rivals Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham all without the two. But fortunately their not alone in these as Manchester City. Will lose Mahrez while a big setback on Liverpool without Mane and Mo Salah as well as Naby.
