Man Utd: Ten Hag Gives Arteta a Free Run, Bad News for Rashford After Latest Transfer Report

Erik Ten Hag

Arsenal will have to ramp up their efforts in signing highly rated defender Lisandro Martinez in the summer especially now that Erik Ten Hag has relaxed his intentions of sign the defender. The Argentinian is well aware that both Arsenal and Manchester United want him ahead of next season and his agent has volunteered to work as an intermediary between the two English clubs and Ajax. The problem however is that Ajax have proven to be a hard nut to crack during the past few negotiations and only a crazy bid seems to be the buffer for their stubbornness.

Manchester United are currently focused on recruiting players in other positions especially Frenkie De Jong who is adamant about staying at Barcelona. Ten Hag knows that the only way he can manage to sign De Jong is to invest all his energy in a single transfer move before embarking on another.

Marcus Rashford

Erik Ten Hag is definitely not going to make it an easy ride for Marcus Rashford next season, especially after rumors claiming that the Dutchman plans on replacing the attacker with a new one next season. Rashford has been having a hard time regaining his old form back and many are blaming it on the surgery he had during the pre season period of last season. The player has also been clashing with some of the club board members since he wants his status in the starting eleven reinstated next season before he pens a new contract.

€70 Million has already been set aside for signing a new prolific winger who will definitely be a wake up call not only for Rashford but also for Jadon Sancho. The identity of the target has not yet been revealed since Manchester United do not want other clubs to pry on the player before they officially table a bid for the him.
