Conte Aims A Dig At Guardiola While Cleverly Escaping A Question About 'Overspending' To Buy Success

The Italian manager is currently in charge of Tottenham Hotspurs has aimed a jibe at Manchester City's Catalan coach, Pep Guardiola after a reporter asked him a question on spending.

It seems like a cold venom spat aimed to the Catalan as he spent almost more than a billion pounds since he joined the Etihad based club.

The former Inter Milan manager told the reporters, "It makes me laugh when people say I spend a lot of money. I don't spend for a team instead I make football clubs earn from me." In the interview seen by a UK based online magazine, Just Football, the Italian has just hit back to his critics.

Conte further concluded that at Inter Milan, the only player he purchased was Romelu Lukaku. He continues to say that most players he managed ended up gaining something including Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian was regarded as a flop at Manchester United but ended up winning the Scuidetto with Inter.
