Feyenoord will aim for a better season in the Dutch Eredivisie this term and will host Go Ahead Eagles in the second round of the campaign on Sunday at De Kuip. The pride of the Ijssel Kowet has made it to the top tier but has fallen short of three points after the opening match following the promotion.
The Pride of South started the new edition of Eredivisie on the road and bagged a huge 0-4 win against the likes of Willem II in that fixture. All goals were scored by different players and both halves of the game had two goals each in them.
Meanwhile, GA Eagles were welcomed By Heerenveen in the league this term. The former was at the comforts of home but lost the encounter in which an early goal by Halilovic T in the seventh minute stood the difference between the two sides.
The last time these two sides met was a horrible result for the traveling side. Feyenoord had a massive 8-0 win at home in that h2h clash in 2017 Eredivisie.
Go Ahead Eagles will return to the top-tier seeking revenge for that humiliating loss. However, they are not off to a good start in the league this term to defeat Feyenoord.
The host enjoys the ground advantage and will play on the back of another massive win in their schedule during the opening fixture. Thus, the home team will have an upper hand over the guest in the clash.
